A beautiful spring day, a beautiful wedding set in our local countryside here in Clydesdale, South Lanarkshire.

The wedding of Duncan and Joanna took place on Saturday the 10th April 2010 in Coulter a little village just outside Biggar, many travellers from Edinburgh to Dumfries will have passed Coulter on their journey, with a blink of an eye and you have missed it. Coulter however has a wonderful history and having a wedding in the old Culter Parish Kirk was both a pleasure and an honour, the wedding reception was a mere stroll along the beech tree lined walk from the kirk to the wonderful Alders House that is set in the most beautiful gardens a secret that is missed by most.

They say the weather make a wedding and it was beautiful, the champagne reception at the front of the house was a wonderful idea and everyone had time to enjoy the fresh air and sunshine sipping their drinks chatting amongst old friends and new family friend from Duncan and Jo’s wedding, a photographers dream to capture natural photographs with the joy and happiness of the day unhindered by formal photographs.

This was our daughters second wedding shooting as a second photographer, picking of those candid moments whilst we were with the bridal party on a pleasant stroll around the grounds of the kirk, she captured a wonderful photograph of the guests walking along the avenue it is a wonderful image and says a lot about the potential of Vicki for future years to come.
