I’ve been trying to source a holster for my Lowepro backpack to hold my monopod during a shoot something that gave quick access could be secured and will hold a 580ex on the pod for a lightstick.

I think I’ve solved the problem with my custom mod.

Using our stands is great with an assistant but hardly portable when working solo

The Manfrotto monopod with it’s built in stand is great but isn’t as stable as a proper stand so expensive flash guns do get broken.

Adding a pocket to my Lowepro bag makes the light stick easy to transport ready for action keeping my hands free
